Ministry & MISSION

1 Peter 4:10

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

As followers of Jesus Christ, God calls us to serve one another in love. And as we grow in faith, we discover many different ways to demonstrate that love through serving.

Many opportunities are available in the church and our local community, as well as internationally. And because we love our neighbors, we take special care to follow all current guidelines for gathering in-person as safely as possible.

  • PARTNER IN EDUCATION

We are excited to partner with Glades Middle School. By our presence on campus, we support the teachers, administrators, and staff in their ministry of education. We donate backpacks and school supplies for neighbors in need, and we serve as hands-on assistance for faculty functions and meetings, PTA events, family nights, Open House, school beautification, Harvest Drive, media center help, Cougar Showcase, tutoring, and more!

  • nourishing lives

Nourishing Lives provides food, books, and love each week during the school year to children of over 200 local families that are food insecure, all at no cost to them. In this way, students and their families are supported, encouraged, and strengthened to grow into their full potential. Will you join the effort to make sure no child goes hungry?

  • Holiday outreach

Every year, holiday boxes and baskets are adopted and prayerfully filled with gifts for others at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. In past years, these blessings have been delivered to residents at the local State Veterans' Nursing Home in Pembroke Pines and also shared with families of our local Partner in Education.

  • Cuba

We are honored to be in Global Missions partnership with Iglesia Metodista Firmes Sobre La Roca, our sister church in Minas de Matahambre. We offer support for the local congregation, pastor, and seven additional missionaries through prayer and encouragement, mission trips, and financial resources.

  • Nicaragua

Do you feel called to help God's children in another nation? To be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, serving those in another country? Through the Twelve Churches mission project, we send a team of youth and adult missionaries from our local community to León, Nicaragua each summer.
